Story
Those of you who have been friends with me since my 20s know I lost my mum to breast cancer; 10 years on I was still losing friends. But now, more and more, friends are fighting, and winning, their battles against this disease. So we are taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk to help Breast Cancer Now fund their world-class research and life-changing care for anyone affected by breast cancer. It‘s not the London Marathon but it’s still 20 miles, more than we’ve walked in a single day in a long time!
By 2030, its estimated that 1.2 million women will be living with the disease. Breast Cancer Now are uniting to make life-saving discoveries and are here to offer expert support to anyone, the whole way through their breast cancer experience. But they can’t do it alone.
By sponsoring our Pink Ribbon Walk you can help change the lives of men and women and the future of breast cancer. Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
