Raising money for St David's Hospice Care (Gwent and S. Powys)

St. David's Hospice Care provides free community-based hospice care to people with cancer or any other life threatening illness living in Gwent and Mid/South Powys. Your donations help us to provide the services that give patients a real choice about where they spend their final days.

Story

A lot of you now know that Anita sadly passed away last August

It would have been Anita's 92nd birthday on October 4th, and to commemorate her life, Gabrielle and Nathalie had planned to abseil from the transporter bridge, on October 3rd in her name. We will still be doing the abseil but (yes, you've guessed it!) due to Covid-19 restrictions in Newport, the event has been postponed several times (to the 27 February 2021, then 28 March 2021) but it looks as if we are now going to abseil the "tranny" on Saturday 17 April 2021

It was Anita's wishes that donations should be made payable to St. David's Hospice Care when she would pass away, and so all donations can be made in memory of her.

"Hospice care offers reassurance of round-the-clock expert care, in a friendly, welcoming environment for those who are living through a life limiting illness. From managing someone's pain, to looking after their emotional, spiritual and social needs, hospice care supports the whole person, helping them to live their life to the full."

Any donations are welcome for this good cause. Thank you 🙏
