On July 19, 2025, I will be participating in the Macmillan "Cotswolds Mighty Hike", a a charity walk of 13 miles that aims to raise awareness and funds for research, treatment, care and support for those affected by cancer. As most of you know me and my family have been touched by this awful disease on more than one occasion. Thankfully, I am well and (reasonably) healthy at the moment .My target is to raise £1750 for a combination of Macmillan, Royal Marsden (the wonderful place where I had my treatment and continue to be cared for) and Al's Pals (the cancer charity I volunteer for). Your generous contributions will directly impact the lives of those affected by cancer, providing them with the care and support they desperately need.

Primarily this walk is to support Macmillan , but in raising the required funds for this wonderful charity , I would also like to donate any surplus funds to these other 2 wonderful Charities which are both close to my heart.
