Story

I’m Running the 2026 London Marathon for Great Ormond Street Hospital 🌟

After applying year after year, I’m thrilled (and a little nervous!) to say that I’ve finally secured a charity place to run the 2026 London Marathon for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity). This has been a personal goal of mine for a long time, not just for the physical and mental challenge, but to shine a light on a cause incredibly close to my heart. 💙

Why GOSH Means So Much to Me

I began my journey as a paediatric nurse at GOSH, training and working alongside some of the most dedicated and inspiring people I’ve ever met. I then went on to work in their Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where I had the privilege of caring for some of the sickest children in the UK. It was intense, emotional, and at times heartbreaking, but always full of hope.

What Is GOSH?

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) is one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals. Every day, seriously ill children from across the UK come to GOSH for life-saving treatments. The hospital depends on charitable support to fund breakthrough research, cutting-edge medical equipment, family support services, and rebuilding and refurbishing hospital facilities.

How You Can Help

Running 26.2 miles is going to be a huge challenge, but raising money for GOSH will keep me motivated every step of the way. If you’re able to support me with a donation, big or small, it will go directly toward making a difference in the lives of children and families who need it most.

Please donate today and help me support this incredible charity.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💖
