Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

20 years ago Paul Craig MBE was knocked off her bike by someone not wearing their glasses. Since then she has been paralysed from the waist down. .to celebrate 20 years of acheivements since the injury Paula and 5 friends are taking on the English Channel and are planning a Channel Relay Swim raising funds for Aspire, the charity that helped Paula get from Injury to Independence. Every 4 hours someone in the UK suffers a life changing permenant spinal cord injury. Funds raised will help them.
