Story
I am taking part in the 60 Miles in June Challenge for Tommy's because I want to help save babies' lives.
in April 2025 Harriet suffered a ‘missed miscarriage’ this means my baby’s heart stopped beating, although there was no signs of miscarriage, such as bleeding or cramping. i went for surgery to remove the baby however this was unsuccessful, after other complications and developing an infection i was admitted to hospital, where i lost the baby. this was followed by more complications and scans showed i had retained placenta and had to undergo more treatment.
i’m completing the walk for Tommy’s with my sister and partner in memory of my baby bean x
