Story

Once again, Team Brett is proud to be participating in Ziggurat 2026 - The Ride for the Construction Industry!

Ziggurat - the annual adventure for folk from the constructions and built environment sector who share a passion for cycling and may not be averse to doing a bit of networking from the saddle.

2026 will mark a special 10-year anniversary of this great event and we are celebrating by offering the most incredible ride to date.

Travelling from the Basque region of Spain through hills and valleys to the bustling capital of Madrid the route provides a stunning and challenging ride.

Now, you might think that doesn’t sound too challenging for our adventurous crew, but let me tell you – they’ll be tackling over 5,700 meters of mountainous climbing! For some, those who are more accustomed to downhill cycling, these mountains will definitely present a serious challenge.

Action Medical Research are the leading UK charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. Action have been funding medical breakthroughs for 70 years now and have helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy. They are now driving forward children's research, including in the fight against premature birth and rare diseases.

Our 10th Annual cycling networking tour Ziggurat will see around 70 riders cycle from Bilbao to Madrid on a fully supported 4 day ride for the construction industry.

By donating money for this incredible charity, you are helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases. With your help we're determined to make a real change to children's lives.
