Story
On Sunday 27 April, the BT Customer Experience team will be taking part in a London Volunteer Day challenge, completing a 15-mile walk and street clean-up across Central London to raise money for Home-Start London. Our route is approximately 14.6 miles / 23.5km, and the team will be starting from BT One Braham in the morning. Along the way, we will grab and take away any garbage we could find and put them into our bags.
As part of this volunteering day, we are aiming to raise £200 for Home-Start London through our JustGiving page.
Home-Start supports families with young children through difficult times by providing compassionate, practical and emotional support. In London, Home-Start helps local families with a child under the age of five, with trained volunteers offering weekly support in the home as well as groups, outings and other targeted help.
This is a charity doing important work to help parents feel less alone and to give children the best possible start in life. Home-Start London says that, last year, 750 volunteers across the capital supported more than 6,000 families.
If you would like to support the challenge, we would be very grateful for any donation, big or small. Every contribution will help us move closer to our fundraising goal and support Home-Start’s work with families across London.
Thank you so much for your support!
