Aim High Hobby Horse Race – Racing for Laughs, Riding for a Reason 🏇💚

What on earth are we doing?

Somewhere along the way, somebody at Ailsa’s Aim thought:

“Wouldn’t it be funny if we got a load of adults and children to race around on hobby horses?”

And instead of somebody sensible stopping us… everyone started signing up. 😂

The Aim High Hobby Horse Race is now officially happening at Aim High Festival on Saturday 19th September 2026 in Higham Ferrers.

We already have an increasingly ridiculous stable of horses including Snowstorm, Hornycorn, My Horse Nitwit, 50 Shades of Neigh, Gallop and Pony Baloney – with businesses, adults and children all joining the madness.

There are mystery jockeys, unnamed horses, businesses holding actual horse trials and an alarming amount of competitive spirit appearing.

And we LOVE it.

But behind the silliness is something incredibly important 💚

Every penny raised through this campaign will support Ailsa’s Aim.
