Team fundraising for Clydebank Asbestos Group

Raising money for Clydebank Asbestos Group

Clydebank Asbestos Group is a volunteer organisation set up in 1992 to help provide support, advice and information for victims of asbestos and their families. For 30 years we have been supporting people with asbestos-related illnesses and their loved ones in Scotland and beyond.

Story

Our team is taking part in the Kiltwalk to raise money for The Clydebank Asbestos Group, a local organisation that supports people affected by asbestos-related diseases and their families.

Widespread use of asbestos in Scotland’s shipyards and industrial workplaces has had a major impact across Scottish communities, with Clydebank among the most affected due to its shipbuilding history.

The organisation provides practical support, advice, and information, including guidance on state benefits and civil compensation, and relies on donations to continue this work. Any support you can give is greatly appreciated and will help them continue supporting those who need it.

Chloe, Adele, Rebecca, Amy, and Lucy will be walking 14.5 miles in April to support this vital cause. Any donation helps provide real support to those affected by asbestos-related diseases.
