Story
This June, Ian Easton and the Coconut Marketing team and Polly and Jennifer from Dan's Fund are taking on the Miners Track and Pyg Circular route up Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa).
Ian, Coconut's Digital Marketing Team Manager suffered from a life-changing accident in 2018 when there was an explosion in his workshop and suffered 20% burns and significant inhalation burns and now has Bi-Lateral Vocal Cord Paralysis as a result. This is him turning his dream into a reality, after dreaming that he climbed Mount Snowdon (and sang Tears For Fears 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' when he reach the summit), Ian has inspired the entire Coconut Marketing team to take on the challenge with him.
Ian then reached out to Polly the founder of Dan’s Fund and a burn survivor herself & Jennifer who works with her at Dan’s Fund to tell them of the their plans. They thought it was such a good idea that they jumped at the chance to join them and hope to raise even more funds for the charity, which is very much needed as the charity is busier than ever helping burn survivor's in need.
Together, they will all trek up the mountain to raise vital funds for Dan's Fund for Burns, a charity dedicated to supporting burn survivors both financially and emotionally and through supporting the NHS. This will be challenging with breathing difficulties, dodgy old knees, hips causing problems but Ian and Polly and team are determined to get to the top for that moment!
Your generous donations will help Dan's Fund to continue their life-saving support, resources, and help burn survivors to recover from their injuries.
Join us in making a real difference in the lives of burn survivors. This is deeply personal to Coconut Marketing with Ian working as a volunteer befriender for the charities’s peer to peer support service and of course for Polly and Jennifer who run the charity between them.
We cannot do it without your support. Thank you!
