Coodes 3 Peaks Team Challenge for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust

Raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust

Every year, Cornwall Air Ambulance is tasked to around 1,000 missions, delivering fast and effective critical care to patients in their moment of need. As a charity, we need your help to raise over £9 million each year to keep the helicopter flying and the critical care team ready to respond

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our 3 Peaks Team Challenge JustGiving page.

5 volunteers from across Coodes Solicitors have put themselves forward to summit the three highest mountains in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Yr Wyddfa (aka Snowdon)) back to back with a target trekking time of 15 hours, a combined climb of 3000m, all within a 24 hour time frame. We will undertaking this on the 13/14 June 2026.

Coming together from different Coodes teams and offices we are all passionate about two things - Air Ambulance and a Challenge!

We hope to smash our fundraising target and appreciate your support in our efforts. We will do the hard work if you can donate generously!

Why are we doing this? The Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust was the very first air ambulance service in the UK, first taking flight in 1987.

It was founded in response to the pressing need for rapid medical care in a landscape full of rugged coastlines, expansive farmland, difficult to navigate roads and remote locations.

The Trust receives no funding through the government and relies entirely on public donations to keep its helicopters flying, attending an average of 3 missions each day.

The Cornwall Air Ambulance is a vital lifeline to those living in and visiting Cornwall. The helicopters can provide quick access to the critically ill or injured, delivering specialist medical care to the scene faster than land ambulances, often in challenging terrain.
