Story
On Friday 26 June 2026, ALABARÉ will host its first ever BIG Sleep at St Paul’s Cathedral, bringing people together in a powerful act of solidarity for veterans facing homelessness.
Supporting this cause via the City of London Livery Architects Company we are officially joining this landmark campaign — a movement committed to ensuring no veteran is left without a home, support, or hope.
Why We’re Sleeping Out
Veterans across the UK are experiencing a growing homelessness crisis:
2,270 veteran households in England are homeless or at risk An estimated 7,500 veterans UK-wide are homeless or in emergency accommodation. 13,231 people slept rough in London last year, including many former service personnel
ALABARÉ has seen a 121% increase in veterans needing urgent support.
This campaign exists because these numbers aren’t just statistics — they’re people who served our nation and deserve better.
Thank you for being part of something extraordinary.
