Story
After my own spinal fusion surgery in 2012, I have struggled with body confidence, isolation and low mood with my spine.
A goal I would love for us all to have in 2025 is to truly appreciate how STRONG our bodies are, even with scoliosis and spinal fusions.
We had a brainstorm of how we could prove this to you all, build a bit of support and community, and most of all give ourselves a challenge! And why not do it for charity.
I’m so pleased to announce our Scoli Snowdon Trek, for Scoliosis Support & Research 🔩💚
Date: Saturday 28th June 2025 (rounding up Scoli awareness month!)
Where: Snowdon, North Wales
Who: A qualified trekking guide and 25-50 others with scoliosis and spinal fusions!
What: A moderate climb up Snowdon, taking around 6-7 hours (and definitely a pub dinner after!)
We are fundraising for Scoliosis Support & Research - the UK’s only scoliosis charity who aim to support those with scoliosis & spinal fusion by building awareness and funding research. SS&R have kindly offered to reimburse trek fees for anybody able to raise £500!
Thank you so much for all your support 🔩💚
