Story
We cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats. 1057 miles, 50,000 feet of hills, 24(?)Greggs sausage rolls, 3 pairs of sore legs, 2 punctures, 1 day almost dying on Dartmoor.
We're raising money retrospectively because we weren't sure on whether changes in guidelines might mean we couldn't be able to finish it safely, but we are happy to say we've completed it in 16 days, which is only around 385 hours off the current record!
We're looking to raise money for a couple of causes.
Firstly, for Caring in Bristol which is a charity that have been supporting people experiencing homeless in Bristol. They have been leading the Cheers Drive Campaign which has been delivering food to those housed in hotels throughout the pandemic. Throughout lockdown they have been feeding over 300 people a day and have delivered over 100,000 meals to date. This is a real opportunity to help them moving in to more permanent accommodation and support people in getting their lives back on track.
Secondly, The Flying Seagull Project who are a charity who work bringing shows and entertainment to children in conflict zones and refugee camps across the world.
We are aiming to raise £1057 (£1 for each mile) and we would really appreciate if you have anything to spare.
Love,
Dash, Joe and Tom.
