Raising money for North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS FT Charitable Fund is a separate charity working with the NHS in Stockton and Hartlepool. Donations and funds are used to enhance those aspects of patient care and staff development which are not funded by the NHS. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Story

On the 30th October 2025, a team of staff from the children's ward at North Tees are headed to the ballroom of Hardwick Hall Hotel for a one-of-a-kind black-tie charity dance event.

As clinical staff, none of us have ever done anything like this before; the most we have danced is at parties with friends and family, but for one night only, we’ll be swapping our crocs for dance shoes to take part in Strictly Nuvo's dance competition.

The ball will see us compete against 7 North East businesses to raise funds for the renovation of the children’s ward garden for the benefit of children and families who need our service, and another fantastic local cause.

Nuvo Wellbeing is an academy that offers free dance lessons and confidence-building programmes for children and young people across the North East of England.

Dance teachers from Nuvo will be joining each group, including ours, as we compete against each other in a strictly type competition.

If anyone would like to donate to help our children get outside whilst in hospital, please give what you can through this page. Every donation brings us closer to our fundraising target.

If anyone would like to attend the ball and watch all the dance performances followed by a three-course meal please email Alyson Thompson at Alyson.thompson1@nhs.ne.

Tickets are £52.00 each, which includes a welcome drink, a three course meal, as well as an evening of fantastic entertainment!

Thank you
