GroceryAid provides emotional, practical and financial support for everybody who works in the grocery industry and has been doing so since 1857.

The Charity has been at the heart of the food & drink industry for over 160 years supporting colleagues through challenges and is overseen by 14 Trustees who are responsible for the legal and statutory compliance and the development and growth of the Charity.

As a trustee, Dawood Pervez is deeply committed to advancing the charity's mission and meeting its fundraising needs to sustain its vital support for industry professionals. One of the notable events that exemplifies this commitment is the GroceryAid cycling challenge, a three-day cycle challenge that takes cyclists through some of the most scenic views that England has to offer.

Dawood Pervez, alongside Rob Chisholm and Stuart Griggs, are participating in this year’s event which is “Pedal the Peaks”, rallying support for a cause that significantly impacts lives within our sector.
