The 2022 decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health Organization case overturned the longstanding Constitutional right to abortion and eliminated federal standards on abortion access that had been established by earlier decisions in the cases, Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.
