Our Dundee Imagination Libraries have gifted almost 2000 books to over 400 children in the community since 2025 as part of Dolly Parton’s global network of Imagination Libraries.

With your help we want to grow the number of children in Dundee who receive books each month. Our aim is to raise £2,160 - enough to send 1,000 books into the community.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library sees each registered child receives one book of their very own, each month, from birth to age five. The book is posted directly to the child’s address enabling a family to start to build their own library at home, and to gift them the joy of reading. There is no cost to the family.

Team Dundee is raising funds to support the growth of the Imagination Library across the area, which is delivered by local partners including libraries across the Lochee Ward, Stobswell Forum and CLD in Whitfield. Donations go towards the costs of the books and fulfilment - the more funds we raise the more books we can gift!

Our vision is to make Dundee Imagination Library available city-wide so that all children can benefit from the joy of books and reading.
