We've been helping hundred of burned children for more than 31 years, across Africa and beyond. We've been preventing fires in squatter camps (shanty towns) and helping to mitigate fire disasters. In 2007 and 2011 our children climbed two of Africa's towering volcanoes. Now we're going to train and plan for another climb, to another African peak, because by showing the children that No Mountain is Too High, they overcome the odds, in the mind and in the body and show the World that they are, indeed, Superheroes.

Please contribute to the costs of the children and volunteers getting fit, getting documented, getting vaccinated. It will take more than a year to prepare. We've had trial runs in the Drakensberg mountains, we need to get everyone the right size boots, jackets, over trousers, gloves. They'll need porters and tents and guides. There are always "What If" scenarios to try to plan for, but these expeditions raise awareness without pity. They uplift the individuals life-long and they teach prevention-of-injury to the public, as well as giving people an understanding that disability doesn't mean incapable, that disfigured doesn't mean stupid.
