About Us: Why We Quest

In every Dungeons & Dragons campaign, heroes unite to face a common foe. We are bringing that same spirit of teamwork to the real world to take on our toughest opponent yet: cancer.

We are proud to take part in this event in support of Cancer Research UK as part of Relay for Life Pontypool. Relay for Life is more than just a walk; it’s a global movement that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers loved ones lost, and raises vital funds to double cancer survival rates over the next 50 years.

Why Pontypool?

The Pontypool Relay is one of only two Relays in Wales and has raised over £534,000 for life-saving research since it began in 2016. In 2026, we will be celebrating our 10th Anniversary Relay, and every gold piece (or pound sterling!) you donate helps us get closer to a world where everybody lives longer, better lives.
