We have decided that we don’t want any gifts for our wedding day. Instead, and if you are able to, we kindly request that you consider donating to our chosen charities.

Community Resource is a Shropshire-based charity that provides support to people and communities facing challenges. They help people to maintain their independence, give grants to those in need, and work with local groups to help communities thrive. £50 could support a Dementia Care and Share group. £150 could help someone facing fuel poverty by buying heaters or go towards the cost of heating bills. We want to help the people in the communities where we live and make their lives easier. No one should have to choose between heating and eating.

We have also chosen to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer and our families are no different. Whether it was many years ago, or current battles, Uncles, Aunties, Grandparents or friends, it is very real and very difficult for everyone involved. We don’t want anyone else to have to go through that. Cancer Research UK raises vital funds to help save lives and provide support.
