Raising money for First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps)

Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge 2022 · 30 April 2022 to 1 May 2022 ·

FANY (PRVC) has been deployed as part of the national response to COVID-19. Their volunteers are providing essential support to NHS Nightingale Hospital London, to the North London and Westminster Coroners' offices, and to the City of London Police.

Story

We are three new members of the FANY (Melissa Davidson, Katya Ignatiev, and Lucy Touche) who have decided to put our sanity aside to walk many kilometers for a good cause. In April 2022, we'll be walking 100km (yes, non-stop), taking around 24 hours.

For those of you that don't know the FANY (PRVC), formed in 1907, remains an all-female voluntary organisation that today deploys rapid response teams to support civil and military authorities in times of national crisis. Members are unpaid volunteers who train every week and are on call 24/7. The Corps has been deployed as part of the national response to COVID-19. Members are currently providing essential support to NHS Nightingale Hospital London, to the North London and Westminster Coroners' offices, and to the City of London Police.

Our team and the FANY thank you for your support!
