Team GGRS will be taking to the skies over the weekend of Saturday, 16th May & Sunday, 17th May 2026 in support of the fantastic work that the Owen McVeigh Foundation do to create magical memories for children suffering from cancer.

The GGRS team consisting of 8 members, will take part on Sunday, 17th May 2026 will consist of,

GGRS Energie Ltd have been huge supporters of the Owen McVeigh Foundation since the charity was set up by Mark & Joanne McVeigh following the tragic loss of their 11 year old son Owen after a short illness.

The 8th member of the team, Nicola Slater, will be taking part in her 6th skydive on Saturday, 16th May 2026. Nicola's son, Jude and their family have been supported by this amazing charity since July 2022. Mark & Joanne McVeigh have given the family many priceless memories and have been extremely supportive particularly when the family were given the dreadful news that Jude needed to have chemotherapy to treat tumours in his brain. Jude completed 70 weeks of treatment in September 2025 and thankfully, he is doing well. He continues to be monitored by Alder Hey Children's Hospital. The Owen McVeigh Foundation helped them through a truly horrendous time in their lives.
