On the 02 and 03 October, the University of Glasgow will be holding its third Giving Day, a 36-hour fundraising event and opportunity for #TeamUofG to come together, celebrate and have some fun.

On the 02 October 2025, a group of fearless fundraisers from TEAM UofG will be stepping over the edge as we abseil down the towering James McCune Smith Learning Hub!

It’s not for the faint-hearted, but we’re taking on this adrenaline-fuelled challenge to raise vital funds for our focused causes: Access to Opportunity, Student Experience, and Global Health.

Friends from across our UofG community have been 'roped' in for this daring descent, and every donation will help us turn nerves into impact.
