On 7th September 2025, Sharon, Case and James completed the Great North Run (half marathon- 13.1 miles)!

We ran for our dad/ grandad who sadly passed away in 2024 with a brain tumour, after a few months of palliative care.

Our dad/ grandad LOVED running (half) marathons, and the Great North Run was his favourite race - in the care home when he could remember little else, he could still remember the end of this run (unfortunately for us, it was a huge hill🫠). We ran this race to honour him and to make him proud 💛

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.
