Last year, I took on my first ever run, just a 10k but it was a huge challenge for me. But with the support of my friends and family and motivation to fundraise, I not only completed it but even enjoyed it! That's when I knew I wanted to push myself even further.

Recently, I joined Gatehouse Bank where colleagues have chosen the Bone Cancer Research Trust as our charity of the year for 2024. This cause is close to the hearts of many of our colleagues and their families, so I couldn't think of a more perfect cause to support.

That's why I've decided to participate in the Great North Run 2024, a half marathon! It's going to be tough, but knowing that every step I take will help raise funds for the BCRT gives me the motivation to keep going.
