This time last year, I was diagnosed with alopecia areata. I started losing all of my hair and last Christmas made the decision to shave my remaining hair off.

During my treatment, the staff at Fresh Hair at the University Hospital of North Midlands and The Little Princess Trust were so incredibly supportive, and made the whole process much easier for me at what was a very difficult time. They gave me my confidence back.

I, along with my family and friends, will be running the Stafford 10k on September the 22nd 2024, and my sister will be donating 14 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust to go towards creating a new wig for another girl.
