Hickathrift House – Walking for a Cause Close to Our Hearts
We are a team from Hickathrift House Care Home, and we are proud to be taking part in the Alzheimer’s Society 13 miles walk once again.
Caring for people living with dementia isn’t just what we do, it’s who we are. Every day, we support our residents with compassion, dignity, and understanding, building meaningful connections and helping them live as fully as possible. Through our work, we see firsthand the challenges that dementia brings, not only for those diagnosed but also for their families and loved ones.
That’s why this cause means so much to us.
Last year, we came together as a team raising £1298 and we’re doing it again to continue raising awareness and vital funds for Alzheimer’s Society. Their work makes a real difference, from funding research to providing support services that so many families rely on.
Every step we take is for our residents, their families, and everyone affected by dementia.
We would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give, whether that’s through a donation or simply cheering us on. Together, we can help make a difference.
Thank you for supporting Team Hickathrift
