Our October holiday was cancelled. So we decided to put the school break to good use and try and raise money for charity whilst also keeping active.

We walked lots during lockdown and decided this would be the perfect way to raise money. My boys like the idea of a marathon but as my youngest son is only 2 we decided we‘d do it over the holiday week.

We couldn’t agree on just one charity. My eldest son wanted to choose an animal charity, and my middle son a charity for children. Linking our challenge to two separate charities was difficult, so we choose one umbrella charity that supports several charities and includes a charity for both children & animals.

My boys will also donate £5 each from their savings and we’re hoping to raise £200.
