We exist to support the entire naval family

Story

In January 2020, a team of Submariners became the first ever Royal Navy team to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic ocean.

Rowing the Atlantic is the first of many challenges our community will take on; we'll be swimming lakes, the Channel and rowing Oceans every year with an aim to fund raise over 1 Million Pounds to provide Mental Health and well-being support to serving Royal Navy personnel, their families and veterans.

Please help fundraise with us! Oardacious is about more than rowing oceans - we exist to help submariners, their families, and veterans through the Submarine Family. If you want to help there are countless ways you can get involved! You could get sponsored to: Run a marathon (or a mile, it’s up to you), do a charity swim, bike ride, host a coffee morning or a bake sale , take on a 30 day challenges (Dry January, no coffee for June, you could pick anything!) or host an event (disco, garden party, quiz night etc), have a raffle, there are so many options!

About the charity

The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity is the principle charity of the Royal Navy. Beneficiaries lie at the heart of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity's purpose, it is our duty to remain focused on their needs. Since 2007, we have funded projects and facilities that boost morale for those who serve today. We also distribute millions of pounds annually to military charities which care for the children, families and veterans of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
