We're raising money in memory of our dear friend Dave (1950-2026), who sadly passed away in March 2026 after bravely fighting cancer. Dave was a kind, caring man and a brilliant guitarist — he absolutely loved writing and performing music and spent much of his time encouraging and supporting other musicians, too.

We wanted to do something positive in his memory that reflects what he went through and what he loved.

Maggie's Centres (Cancer Support)

Maggie's support centres work alongside NHS hospitals, they offer and provide free expert emotional, practical and social support to every aspect of cancer care, a truly safe place for cancer patients and their families. Though David only visited his local centre a few times, he so appreciated the friendly escape to a peaceful mental space that helped him approach his cancer with dignity and strength.

Berkshire Music Trust

Berkshire Music Trust provides young people with access to music education, instruments, and opportunities to grow as musicians.

We hope for donations to support lessons, workshops, provision of instruments and performance opportunities — giving young musicians the chance to develop their skills, confidence, and love of music, just like Dave did.
