Story

Thank you for visiting our page. We are running the Edinburgh marathon in memory of two very special people, Alison Irvine and Kenneth Ross. We hope, with your help, to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Alison, James’ mum and Kenneth, Hebe’s grandpa both received care at the Cornhill Macmillan Centre. The centre aims to achieve the best quality of life possible for patients and their families when they are affected by illnesses that cannot be cured. This is all made possible due to the ongoing support from Macmillan.

The level of care received by both Alison and Kenneth was excellent and the support throughout was invaluable to both families. We are running to show our appreciation to Macmillan and the staff at Cornhill and to make sure that other families continue to receive the same care.

With your help Macmillan services will continue to support many more patients and families through the most difficult times. Thank you!
