Kelly Blacknell and I are doing the virtual Royal Parks Half Marathon on April 11th to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK. As many of you will be aware, Kelly's beautiful daughter Jessica got diagnosed with Limb Girdle MD 2D in November 2016. Limb Girdle MD is an incurable muscle wasting disease that has left Jess wheelchair bound and reliant on a significant amount of help from her family and carers to do the basic things that we all take for granted. I can honestly say that I do not know of a stronger family. They have astounded me with their capacity to adapt to change, remain positive and face the diagnosis head on. Jess is only 14, she can't do the regular things most 14 year old's can, but she has such determination and grit and she doesn't let this beat her. We will be walking the half marathon for Jess and to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy UK to help find a cure. Please give whatever you can spare. Kelly & Kelly xx
