Story
This Purple Day, I'm taking part in the 26 miles in 26 days Challenge to help raise awareness and life changing funds for children and young people with epilepsy. Together we can create a future where every child with epilepsy can live seizure free.
As some of you may know Jacob was diagnosed with focal to generalised epilepsy in March 2024 as if he hasn't already had enough thrown at him! He amazes us how he just keeps fighting on💪🏻 It's not only affected him but all his loved ones around him feeling like your living on the edge but fingers crossed with the medication things are looking up but there will always be that uncertainty.
This is why Jacob would like us to take on this challenge to help other children like him.
Please make a donation to my page today. If you'd like to join me in the challenge then you can sign up here: https://www.youngepilepsy.org.uk/get-involved/challenge/26-miles-in-26-days-challenge
Purple Day on 26th of March is the International Day of Epilepsy awareness. No child should live in fear of their own body. Seizures can be frightening and they can leave children in pain, feeling confused and alone.
Nearly every hour, another child or young person in the UK is diagnosed with epilepsy.
Show your support by donating today and help stop the fear of seizures. Breakthrough treatments and day to day support can transform their lives.
