Together, for the second year running, we are taking on the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) October Challenge. This cause is close to our hearts, and we take on this challenge in memory of friends and loved ones.

We're inviting friends, family, and anyone else wanting to make a difference to join us, whether that be participating in the challenge or providing vital support from the virtual side-lines. Let's smash last year's total of £848 (over £1,000 with Gift Aid)!! Thanks again to all those who supported us in beating our target, it'd be great to get you involved this year.

We request that donations are made to this page, which we've set up to demonstrate the impact of our collective effort and the power of community. We recommend a donation of £31 (£1 for each day of the challenge), but any amount is deeply appreciated and will go a long way. For example, just £12.20 covers the cost of a potentially life-saving crisis call.

For those taking on the challenge, a group of us are committing to a minimum of 5k per day (walk/run) or 10k (cycle) with a discretionary penalty for any days missed. A £5 penalty works well to add a bit of jeopardy and keep us all motivated and on track, but its entirely up to you.

We'd also encourage people to set up Strava and/or WhatsApp groups with friends and family as the banter and camaraderie adds to the fun and is what the challenge is all about!
