We will be flying out to Nepal on the 29th August 2023 where we will be trekking to Everest Base Camp (EBC) over 11 days for Marie Curie and in memory of our Nan, Rosemary Hartwell. We will be joined by 5 others from Aston University for this amazing cause.

Our Nan sadly passed away aged 74 on 1st December 2022 following a tough fight against the terminal illness idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. It is a condition that causes scarring in the lungs making it increasingly difficult to breathe.

Unfortunately nan was unable to spend her final days in a hospice. However, the hard work of staff and nurses at hospices, and the support that Marie Curie offers to families all over the country through terminal illness means fundraising for this cause is something I hold close to my heart. Any donation will help support the charity continue their amazing work supporting families and individuals living with terminal illness.

Every day of your life matters from the first to the last.
