UPDATE 8th May 2026 - over the last few days we’ve made our way from Truro to Dulverton via overnights in Bodmin and Sheepwash. Many thanks again for the best wishes and donations. And extra thanks to Half Moon Inn in Sheepwash for looking after us and donations, and to Bike Shed in Barnstaple for emergency bike repair. Day 5 on 9th May is Dulverton to Glastonbury 63 miles…all the best, Ken and Neil

In aid of ‘Race Against Dementia’ and ‘Julia’s House Dorset & Wiltshire Children’s Hospices’ we are two brothers cycling Land’s End to John o’ Groats in May 2026 (23 or 24 days). At the ages of 60 and 58, and with an absence from regular cycling for 30+ years, it’s time to enjoy this new journey and challenge (1,176 miles which is a longer LEJOG route 75% on roads and 25% traffic-free) whilst raising whatever funds we can for these two great charities.

If you are kind enough to make a donation, our preference is for an equal amount to both charities so if you could split your total payment between both charities via the donate buttons it would be most appreciated. However, If you only wish to donate to one charity please use the donate button for that specific charity.

The charities are Race Against Dementia founded by Sir Jackie Stewart and Julia’s House providing an incredible service to children and their families in Dorset and Wiltshire.

Day 1 of the journey from Land's End to John o'Groats, we are in Truro after 47 miles through the beautiful Cornwall landscape.
