Birmingham's Rainbow Rush · 21 September 2024 ·

Taking part in the Birmingham Hospice Rainbow Rush on Saturday 21 September. Join us at Cofton Park for a day filled with plenty of colour, music and laughter, whilst taking on 5km for hospice care.

Story

On Saturday 21st September 2024, school friends Jack, Olive, Jacob, Eli, Jacob, Olivia, Samuel and Francesca along with their parent's will be taking part in this years rainbow rush! 🌈

We are incredibly fortunate to have the hospice on our doorstep and this has supported a number of our friends and family over the years ❤️

With your help, over 1,000 local people living with a terminal diagnosis can be cared for by Birmingham Hospice at any one time. It costs over £16 million a year to fund our services, over 40% of which needs to be covered through fundraised income. That’s why the money you raise is so important; it ensures that our specialist care and support is available for more people and their families, at a time when they need it the most.

You may have seen BBC News recently highlight that a rising cost of living and decrease in donations is affecting hospices across the country. Hospice UK estimates that hospices will face up to £120 million of additional costs this year.

Birmingham Hospice are so incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated community of supporters. Thank you for your ongoing support!
