With your help, over 1,000 local people living with a terminal diagnosis can be cared for by Birmingham Hospice at any one time. It costs over £16 million a year to fund our services, over 40% of which needs to be covered through fundraised income. That’s why the money you raise is so important; it ensures that our specialist care and support is available for more people and their families, at a time when they need it the most.

You may have seen BBC News recently highlight that a rising cost of living and decrease in donations is affecting hospices across the country. Hospice UK estimates that hospices will face up to £120 million of additional costs this year.

Although Birmingham Hospice are facing challenging times, we want to assure you that providing the very best care possible for patients and their families will always be our priority. We will do all we can to continue to support patients and their loved ones, whether that’s in our Living Well Centres, Inpatient Units or out in the community.
