Embarking on the daunting ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2025 isn't just about conquering a peak; it's a journey of empowerment and solidarity. Our team of professional, like-minded women, united by a shared determination to reach Uhuru Peak, have chosen this endeavour as a testament to our strength, both physical and mental. We came together through a web of friendship with a collective desire to push our limits and achieve something extraordinary.

As we prepare for this monumental adventure, we're not just climbing for ourselves; we're climbing with a purpose. We're proud to be raising funds for two invaluable charities: Women's Aid and The Samaritans. These organizations resonate deeply with us, as they tirelessly support women, children, and individuals grappling with mental health challenges. By contributing to our fundraising efforts, you're not only supporting our ascent of Kilimanjaro, but you're also enabling these charities to continue their vital work. Together, let's make every gruelling step count towards a brighter future for those in need.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Why am I fundraising?

Women’s Aid:

Did you know the police in England and Wales receive 100 calls every hour relating domestic abuse? (HMIC, 2015)

With three women being killed a fortnight by a current or ex-partner, so much needs to change before women are safe. This is why we are taking on this fundraiser to raise vital funds and awareness for survivors of domestic abuse, but we need your help.

The difference your support can make

£10 Could fund 1 life-changing conversation between a professional Women's Aid support worker and a survivor of domestic abuse.

The Samaritans:

Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year providing a safe place for anyone struggling to cope, whoever they are, however they feel, whatever life has done to them. For more information please visit www.samaritans.org
