If your somewhere on our route and feeling energetic your welcome to join us! Bring along your bike and a good load of banter to keep spirits high!
Despite enjoying the adventure the real reason is to try and raise a good chunk of money for some fantastic charities. If you click on each charity they have more information about themselves and why they are such worthwhile causes. To give you an idea of what they are so amazing;
With Craig having served in the army, there are two charities that raise money for great causes for veterans and serving members. These are charities that not everyone is aware of but are equally as important!
Veterans' Lifeline are a fantastic charity whose mission and vision are to identify Veterans who have lost their sense of purpose and help them to re-establish it, primarily through finding the right employment.
Armed Forces Para- Snow Sport team are a Brilliant independent service charity. We exist to support the recovery of our wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans. Having served their country, it is now up to us to ensure they are not forgotten. We aim to foster a sense of purpose, encourage success and re-build self-confidence using the transformative power of para-snowsports. By motivating, engaging and inspiring our athletes, we can help restore their physical and mental health.
Then we have Macmillan Cancer Support. They are a well known charity that deserve all the fundraising efforts to continue the amazing work they do. Because cancer can affect your life in so many ways, they do whatever it takes to give people the support they need.
Sadly last year Marcus' lost a very dear friend, Scally who fought an amazing fight. Macmillan offered fantastic support and care, so raising money for them is the least that can be done.
Trainings well under way and they are looking forward to the challenge. Here's hoping for fantastic weather for them!
We really appreciate any donations big or small.
Thank you for your time!
