Raising money for Help for Heroes and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity

Story

Ryan Jeffery, Luke Ody and Sam Shelley made the mad decision to run the Loch Ness Marathon on 01/10/2023 and they need your help to make it worthwhile.

We're raising money in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Help for Heroes. Every donation will help.

To support Great Ormond St please donate to Sam's page. For Help for Heroes, Luke or Ryan's.

More information about Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity: Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential.

Help for Heroes is a remarkable organisation that provides life-changing support to wounded, injured, and sick veterans and service personnel. By donating to Help for Heroes, you have the power to make a genuine difference in the lives of these brave individuals who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms and security. Your contribution can help transform their futures, offering vital physical and emotional rehabilitation, access to essential medical care, and opportunities for employment and training.

Every day, veterans and service personnel face immense challenges as they navigate the path to recovery. Help for Heroes offers a holistic approach to support, addressing their unique needs and empowering them to regain independence and live fulfilling lives. Through state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities, adaptive sports programs, and specialised psychological support, the organisation helps individuals rediscover their self-worth and rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Your donation goes a long way in providing these heroes with the assistance they need to overcome their physical and mental obstacles. It ensures that they receive the best possible care, including access to cutting-edge therapies and equipment that aid their rehabilitation journey. Additionally, your generosity enables Help for Heroes to deliver long-term support, assisting veterans in transitioning to civilian life and finding meaningful employment. By donating, you become an essential part of their support network, demonstrating your gratitude for their service and honoring their sacrifices. Together, let's give back to those who have given so much for us.

Thank you so much in advance for your kind donation and for making our painstaking training worthwhile!
