THE CHALLENGE

The challenge is one of ‘Everesting’. Where Stafford castle have kindly allowed me to use their venue.. I will ascend the hill (with help) in full police uniform until the height of Mount Everest is achieved!

That’s a whopping 29,090 ft! So is 290 times up and down the steep castle drive in just two days on the 20th and 21st September 2025.

I plan this to be a team event where anyone can turn up do some walking - even if you go up the drive once, every little helps and we can complete the challenge as a community.

WHY?

To raise much needs funds and awareness for two incredibly deserving charities.

The Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance is a wonderful charity based in Stafford that provides support to families whose children have a cancer diagnosis, both during and after treatment. The support they offer is simply incredible and I look forward to telling you all about what they do over the coming weeks.

Andy’s Man Club is men’s suicide prevention charity that offers free peer to peer support groups in Stafford as well as across the UK and online. They aim to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help them through the power of conversation. Suicide and self harm amongst men is something I sadly see all too often in my role and it something I am passionate about promoting that #itsoktotalk
