**Update** I successfully ran the Oxford Half Marathon yesterday!! Thank you so much for all of your donations and support, you got me over the finish line!! ♥️🎉🏅
I am running the Oxford Half Marathon to raise money for the Oncology department at GOSH and the Neonatal Unit at Ipswich Hospital. It is thanks to these amazing hospitals that both of our daughters are healthy and thriving today.
It would mean a lot if donations could be kept equal between the two charities.
Our eldest daughter was treated for cancer when she was just 14 months old, right at the start of the Covid Pandemic. She had an amazing team of nurses, doctors and specialists all involved in her care, not to mention the fantastic play team who were integral to her happiness during treatment. She has made a full recovery and is absolutely thriving, all thanks to their dedicated care. I am raising money to help support these amazing people to deliver the best possible care to the many other families who are all affected by childhood cancer.
Our youngest daughter was born unexpectedly early and needed a lot of support in her first days of life. The Ipswich Neonatal Unit was amazing at looking after her and it is thanks to the wonderful nurses, doctors and specialists working there that she is absolutely thriving now. I am raising money for the Ipswich Neonatal Unit to help support other families who are going through a similar experience.
