Raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Dundee Kiltwalk 2024 · 11 August 2024 ·

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

We are doing the kilt walk 2024 to raise funds for Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. This is a charity close to one of boot camps girls heart. Nicola's daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate in 2015 and since then has attended the hospital regularly for appointments and operations. Most recently being in December 2023. The whole hospital go above and beyond to help all the families. From patients, parents and siblings. The play team deserve their own wee shout out too as they keep the children entertained with multiple art and crafts, games and technology. Eva would not of gotten through this last stay without them keeping her mind occupied.

We cannot wait to begin this challenge to raise money for such an important charity and thank you all in advance for any support given to us.
