Story
A group of 70 students from Bicton College in Devon, will be taking on a physically gruelling challenge of yomping 100 miles over 3 days in the Baton of Bicton 2024. They will tackle the unforgiving terrain of the Southwest coastal path starting at Studland Bay, Dorset and finishing back at Bicton College, hitting historically significant landmarks along the way.
The Baton – a symbol of inclusivity, teamwork, resilience, and self-determination, will be carried along the way and represents the foundation of the Colleges Military and protective Services Academy’s values and standards.
The students, will plan, deliver, and execute this exhilarating project with the motivation to make this a huge success and in that process support two incredible Charities. The RNLI and the RMA – The Royal Marines Charity. Both Charities have close links with us here at Bicton College and many of our students have gone into careers within these fields.
