We provide education and health programs to empower Congolese girls& their community

Story

During our Super-all-Hands in 2022, Noëlla Coursaris Musunka came to talk to us and we were all moved by her goal and wanted to help.

We are doing this via a sponsored coast to coast ride across the north of England over 3 days at the end of June 2022. The route is from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, which is 137 miles (aka 220km).

About the charity

Malaika is a grassroots nonprofit operating in the village of Kalebuka, in the Southeastern Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition to a free school for over 400 girls, Malaika comprises a community center with literacy, health and sports programs, 25 freshwater wells, and an agriculture program.
