Story
Richard Pegden (Juniors) and David Aldred (Head of Drama) are virtually walking Land's End to John O'Groats, which is 1084 miles or 1743km.
We have a year to complete the challenge, finishing on the last day of the Michaelmas Term 2025. We are hoping to get the boys involved in some fun runs with us and other activities to support us on our journey.
The MHS social pages will keep you up to date on our progress too!
As proud staff and parent at More House School, we’ve seen firsthand the incredible difference this school makes for boys aged 8 to 18 with Specific Learning Difficulties, Developmental Language Disorder, and other challenges. Sport plays a vital role in their development, helping them build confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills.
That’s why we are supporting the "Transforming sports, transforming lives" appeal to raise funds for a 3G Pitch and Sports Pavilion. The current sports fields are often unusable due to weather, and the lack of facilities limits what the boys can achieve. This project will provide a much-needed all-weather pitch and modern changing rooms, creating opportunities for year-round sports and hosting competitive events.
These new facilities will benefit not only the students but also local sports clubs. I’ve seen how transformative sport can be for these boys, and I know this project will have a lasting impact.
Please join me in supporting this important cause!
