Story
In September 2025, I'll be joining a team of Prostate cancer research supporters to take on the challenge of a lifetime, the Freedom Trail Trek or Le Chemin de Liberté.
The 4 day trek is arduous and steep , taking us on remote trails reaching approx. 2500m .I've been training hard to prepare for this demanding challenge, following the footsteps of Allied soldiers and Jewish refugees on one of the iconic mountain routes they took through the Pyrenees to escape Nazi occupied France during WWII.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Over 50,000 men are diagnosed each year—1 in 8 men will face it in their lifetime
Together, we are aiming to raise more than £100,000 for Prostate Cancer Research's lifesaving work, funding innovative research to find the treatments of the future that directly benefits patients and their families.
